If you want to dive, organize a diving tour from the many tour companies in Tulum. For snorkelling, rent or take your own snorkel to really appreciate the underwater caves. You’ll see lots of small fish, a few small turtles and some deep caves.

Don’t get too scared if you see a few bats flying around. I was surprised to see so many. They’ll be hanging around and flying about under the dark caves.
