Itinerary for your Tour of Greece
Experience the wonders of Greece Panorama, an unforgettable journey through Greek history and culture. Begin in Athens, where the majestic Acropolis awaits, followed by an exploration of lesser-known neighborhoods, and a hands-on marble sculpting class. Venture to the Peloponnese, tasting Nemea’s acclaimed wines, marveling at the ancient Epidaurus theater, and savoring traditional Greek cuisine. Conclude in Santorini, where breathtaking sunsets and secluded beaches await beyond the tourist trail, promising an unparalleled adventure.
Day 1 – Arrival in Athens
Land in Athens! Transfers zip you to your hotel. After freshening up, join fellow adventurers
for a short hike at sunset – witness the city bathed in golden light from a stunning viewpoint.
Dinner follows, a delicious taste of Greece to kick off your adventure.

Day 2 – Visit the Acropolis & Marble Sculpting Workshop

Start the day by channeling your inner artist in a marble sculpting class! Learn ancient techniques and create your own personalized souvenir under the guidance of a skilled artisan.

In the afternoon, ascend the Acropolis with your knowledgeable guide and explore its iconic landmarks – the Parthenon, Propylaea, and Erechtheion. Discover the rich history of this ancient city and the architectural brilliance that formed the literal pillars of much of modern-day society.
This day offers a unique blend of creative exploration and historical immersion, leaving you with lasting memories and a deeper appreciation for Greek culture.

Day 3 – Travel to Nafplio

We swap the city’s buzz for the serenity of the coast today! Our adventure starts with a sea kayaking excursion in the crystal-clear waters of the Corinthian Gulf. The turquoise expanse stretches before us, promising breathtaking views and a refreshing Aegean breeze. Keep your eyes peeled, playful dolphins might grace us with their presence!
In the afternoon, we continue our journey to the coastal town of Nafplio, in the Peloponnese. Nafplio is connected by narrow, cobbled streets lined with intriguing shops. We can get lost in the town’s charm, wandering the network of corridors or simply relaxing in a quaint cafe overlooking the picturesque harbor.

Day 4 – Hike the Ancient Path to Epidavrus Theater and Nemea Wine Tasting

We lace up for a scenic hike along an ancient path, leading to the renowned Epidaurus Theater. Imagine the roar of the crowd as you enter this marvel of acoustics – a guided tour unlocks its fascinating history.

The afternoon unfolds with a delightful immersion in Nemea’s famed wine region. Tour a traditional winery, learning the secrets behind their prized vintages. The grand finale? A tasting session where you indulge in award-winning Nemean wines, their flavors complimented by the picturesque vineyards. Raise a glass and toast to Greece’s contributions to the world’s modern-day wines!
Day 5 – Visit Kalamata for a Full-Day Olive Oil Tasting & Cooking Class

Today we travel into the heart of Messinia for an olive oil adventure! Visit a traditional grove, which has generations of knowledge and refinement. We will learn the traditions of olive oil production, from cultivation to extraction. Your taste buds will be put to the test during a guided tasting session, distinguishing the delicate nuances of various olive oil varieties.

The day culminates in a hands-on cooking class, where you’ll transform your newfound knowledge into deliciousness. Alongside a skilled chef, master traditional Greek cuisine using fresh, local ingredients and the finest Messinian olive oil. Create authentic flavors, from classic dishes to vibrant salads, before tasting your creations paired with local wines. This immersive experience offers a taste of Greek culture and the magic of “liquid gold.”

Day 6 – Visit Neda Waterfalls & Apollo Temple

Nature calls in the morning! Hike through a scenic gorge to witness the cascading Neda Waterfalls. Feel the cool spray and reconnect with nature. Midday finds us transported back in time with a visit to the Temple of Apollo Epicurius, perched majestically on a mountaintop. Our guide will share the history of this ancient sanctuary dedicated to the sun god as we enjoy its architecture and breathtaking views.
We travel back to Athens as the day comes to a close.

Day 7 – Santorini Sunset Catamaran Tour
Visit the Greek island of Santorini

We bid farewell to mainland Greece with a morning ferry journey to the captivating island of Santorini! Emerald waters and volcanic landscapes await as we set sail for this iconic destination. After checking into our accommodation and enjoying some free time to refresh, we set off on a highlight of any Santorini adventure – a sunset catamaran tour!
Glide across the Aegean Sea, passing the volcanic cliffs that dot Santorini’s unique coastline. Take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters, snorkel amidst vibrant marine life (optional), and soak up the sun as the day unfolds. As evening approaches, a delightful Santorini cooking demonstration awaits. Watch a skilled chef prepare traditional dishes using fresh, local ingredients, learning the methodology behind the island’s cuisine. Arrange your departing flights at your leisure, allowing you to savor every last moment on this captivating island. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel, one last chance to breathe in the Aegean air. Perhaps you’ll browse local shops for keep-sakes or simply find a quiet corner to reminisce about the magic of Greece.
From the exhilaration of kayaking to the awe of ancient wonders and the delight of delicious cuisine, your Greek odyssey has intertwined an unforgettable mix of experiences.

What to bring to your Greece adventure?
This is the basic list of what we suggest you bring with you. We will provide a more detailed suggested list prior to your departure:
– Sneakers/comfortable shoes.
– Long sleeves or bug spray (there could be mosquitos where we are going).
– Sunblock.
– Hat/cap.
– A reusable water bottle and shopping bag (let’s reduce waste where we can, leaving only footprints).
– N95 Mask (not required, but recommended for visiting small villages if anyone feels unwell)
– Cash. It is up to you how much you wish to bring, for your personal expenses, and if you’d like to convert any cash before you come or withdraw money out of an ATM (we recommend a mix of the two).
– a sense of adventure and an open mind! Probably the most important element of your visit – we want to encourage and inspire you to break out of your comfort zone and get the most out of your trip. Of course, you can opt out of any activity you don’t feel comfortable with, though we are confident of their safety and would not put you in harm’s way if we didn’t stand behind the activities you will be experiencing.

Cancellations & Rebooking
All tours, services, and experiences booked through WSE Travel are bound to our Terms And Conditions, which were modeled after most other travel services such as flights, hotels, and other tour operators.
This is a summary of our cancellation, rebooking, and refund policies. By confirming your reservation, you are agreeing to this policy:
1. Cancellation by Client:
– 60+ days before departure: 100% deposit transferable to another tour. No cancellation fees. Non-refundable deposit.
– 31-59 days before departure: 50% of tour cost forfeited. The other 50% is transferable to another tour. Non-refundable deposit.
– 30 days or less before departure: 100% of tour cost forfeited.
2. Cancellation by the Company:
– Option to choose another tour or receive a full refund, except in cases of force majeure.
3. Rebooking:
– Deposits from cancellations 60+ days before, and balance of deposits 30-60 days before, can be used for another tour, adjusted for cost changes.
4. Refunds:
– No refunds for unused services if the tour is left early by the client.
– Non-refundable deposits if canceled by the client (please refer to section 1 of the cancellation policy)
– Refundable deposits if canceled by the company (please refer to section 2 of the cancellation policy)
5. Pricing Changes:
– Price changes notified 30 days in advance; significant increases allow withdrawal without penalty.
